(Green Fringe x (Startle x Spindazzle)) x Tet. Lockness Monster] Semi Evergreen Tetraploid Late 7" x 20 buds, x 38 H, x 4 Way Branching.
AUTUMN LAVENDER has some of the bloom characteristics from Tet. Lockness Monster and the good plant habit of Divine Inspiration. Having a lavender daylily blooming late in the season in our garden has been a treat because many of the late daylilies are shades of yellow and gold. Most hot days the color will fade to a pleasing paler hue. The triangular chartreuse throat blends into cream and then into a slightly darker outline of an eye. The flowers are displayed on strong scapes well above the foliage. The flower size is about seven inches. The sepals tend to roll back, but the daylily does not meet the criteria for an unusual form.
AUTUMN LAVENDER has performed well in our garden since its first bloom season. Only our very late season visitors have been able to enjoy this garden beauty.
